Renuvion

Are you tired of seeing sagging skin? Do you wish you could instantly tone your stomach, thighs, or arms?

Renuvion® skin tightening is a minimally invasive way to get your problem areas looking firmer and smoother.

Dr. Tracy McCall can expertly administer Renuvion at her Waukesha, WI, office to give you the tightening results you want.

What Is Renuvion?

/

It's a nonsurgical skin tightening procedure that can be used in conjunction with liposuction, tummy tuck, or other cosmetic treatments, or as a stand-alone solution for sagging skin. It can be applied to the face, neck, upper arms, abdomen, breasts, chest, and thighs.

Benefits of Renuvion

Minimally Invasive

Rather than making long incisions, Renuvion is placed under the skin through small entry points your plastic surgeon will make after your anesthesia takes effect. Because the entry points are very small, it makes recovery much quicker and involves minimal scarring.

Quicker Recovery

Because the procedure is minimally invasive and does not remove any tissue, the recovery time is much quicker than plastic surgery. Patients report the downtime, pain, and discomfort to be minimal and are usually back to most normal activities the next day.

Skin Tightening Results That Last

There is no way to stop the aging process, but Renuvion can reduce signs of aging by boosting the production of collagen in the abdomen and other areas. This rebuilding of collagen takes about 6-9 months to complete, but some patients have reported seeing the effects of Renuvion for up to 2.5 years.

Dr. McCall is amazing! She did a fantastic job on my bilateral reduction. I am so pleased with the results. Her nurse, Kristen, is also fantastic. I can't say enough good things! My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a plastic surgeon in this area.

Dr. McCall is the best and only plastic surgeon I will ever go to. She has done many HS surgeries on me and has always been so kind even with insurance changes. I would give her 10 stars if possible. Thank you so much for all you do!

What to Expect On The Day of Your Skin Tightening Procedure

Each patient's treatment is unique and will depend on what you and Dr. McCall decide in your consultation
Each patient's treatment is unique and will depend on what you and Dr. McCall decide in your consultation

Consultation

You will first meet at our Waukesha, WI, office so Dr. McCall can discuss your goals and develop a treatment plan that will work best. You may be able to achieve your desired results with just Renuvion, but for some patients, Dr. McCall may suggest combining it with another treatment such as liposuction or a tummy tuck.

Anesthesia

Depending on what you and Dr. McCall decide is best for your treatment, sometimes a local anesthetic is enough to keep you comfortable during your Renuvion procedure. Dr. McCall will apply the anesthetic to the areas where the small incisions will be made. Even if you are awake during the procedure, it's a virtually painless experience.

The Procedure

Once you are comfortable, Dr. McCall will make the small incision or incisions in the treatment area. The Renuvion probe will be inserted into those small incisions just below the surface of the skin. Once inserted, the probe will emit the RF and cold helium plasma simultaneously to both stimulate and protect the surrounding tissue. Dr. McCall will control the temperature, timing, and location of the probe to ensure precise, safe, and effective treatment.

Post-Op

After your procedure, you will be sent home with bandages that cover your incisions. Not much downtime is needed, and many patients can resume normal activities the following day. We do suggest waiting at least a week or longer before resuming exercise.

When Will I See My Results?

/

You will see the skin tightening effects immediately after your treatment. As the collagen continues to rebuild, you will notice a substantial difference around 2-3 weeks and see your final results around 6-9 months. These final results can last more than two years.

Combining Renuvion  With Other Cosmetic Procedures

Many patients find it beneficial to combine Renuvion with plastic surgery to get their desired skin tightening results. Below are common cosmetic surgeries that patients combine with this skin tightening procedure:

Liposuction

Probably the most common procedure combined with Renuvion, liposuction is the process of removing the excess fat from the targeted area. However, it does not tighten the remaining skin, which makes it a very effective addition to Renuvion treatment. The fat is removed before the Renuvion probe is applied to tighten the remaining skin. The results of this combination will leave the area looking slimmer, tighter, and smoother.

Tummy Tuck

If you have just lost a substantial amount of weight, or if you just have an abundance of loose skin around your abdomen, you may need a tummy tuck before Renuvion. While Renuvion is a successful skin tightening procedure, a large amount of loose skin may require a tummy tuck. This cosmetic procedure removes the excess skin before the Renuvion probe is applied to tighten the treated area.

Arm and Thigh Lift

Similar to a tummy tuck, if you have lost a substantial amount of weight, or if your skin has started to sag around your arms and thighs due to natural aging, you will need to have that excess skin removed before undergoing the Renuvion treatment. The results of this combination will leave your arms and legs looking more youthful and toned.

How Much Does Renuvion Cost?

Each patient is unique, so the cost of your treatment will be unique to you. Whether you need a single Renuvion treatment or a combination of tightening procedures, our office wants you to get the results you've dreamed of. That is why we offer special financing through CareCredit® and United Medical Credit. Call our office today to learn more about how we can make this treatment a fit for your budget.
