Immediate, Long-lasting Rejuvenation
Radiesse®, available at our Milwaukee-area practice, is made of unique calcium-based microspheres that are suspended in a natural gel. Once injected into the skin, the dermal filler corrects smile lines, nasolabial folds and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. Sometimes men and women use it to improve the fullness of their cheeks and other facial contours. At Lake Country Plastic and Hand Surgery serving Pewaukee, Waukesha, Brookfield and Milwaukee, the results of Radiesse® on our patients is generally immediate and long lasting.
How Does Radiesse® Work?
The prime ingredient in Radiesse® is calcium hydroxylapatite. This mineral-like compound, which is found naturally in human bones, contains small, calcium-based particles that create a scaffold upon which your own collagen can grow.
Performed in our Pewaukee office, a Radiesse® treatment usually takes about 15 minutes. Once your Radiesse® expert has identified the injection sites, a small needle will be used to infuse the solution under the dermis layer of your skin. Side effects are rare, and your results may last for two years or more, although periodic touch-ups may be needed.
What are Pewaukee Radiesse® Costs?
Generalizing Pewaukee Radiesse® prices can be difficult because every procedure is unique. The cost can depend on many factors, including how many facial areas are being treated and the proper dosage level. Am I a Good Candidate for Radiesse®?
Most adults who are age 35 and above are good candidates for our Radiesse® treatments in Pewaukee. Because calcium hydroxylapatite is biosynthetically produced, meaning no animals or animal products were used, Radiesse® has a low risk of allergic reaction. You may be interested in the procedure if you have:
- fine lines and wrinkles
- deep folds
- thin lips
- hollow cheeks
