Some women have large, heavy breasts that begin to sag. They can also cause uncomfortable symptoms like back pain.
Breast reduction removes fat, excess tissue, and skin to minimize the size of the breasts and improve their shape.
At Lake Country Plastic & Hand Surgery in Waukesha, WI, Dr. Tracy McCall achieves beautiful breast reduction results.

Breast Reduction Surgery Techniques
Limited Scar Vertical Reduction
Dr. McCall normally gets the best results by using the limited scar, vertical reduction technique. Limited scar breast reductions, also known as vertical reductions or lollipop scar reductions, leave less than half the amount of skin scarring of a standard breast reduction. A small incision is made around a portion of the areola, and then it extends straight down the breast.
While a limited scar breast reduction works for most women, the technique isn’t appropriate for everyone. Patients that require greater breast tissue removal and more of a lift are better suited for the anchor incision. It resembles the vertical incision with the incision around the areola and down the center of the lower breast mound, but also includes an incision along the crease of the breast.
Liposuction & Reduction
During breast reduction surgery, Dr. McCall may perform liposuction to smooth some of the surrounding areas, particularly underneath your armpit. This produces a sleeker, more natural-looking contour of the breasts and the areas around the breasts.
