Corona, CA/USA - 05/11/19: Vial of Botox

The face is often the first place men and women notice signs of aging. Lines and creases develop where facial muscles are overused. Dr. Tracy McCall can diminish wrinkles around your forehead, eyes, and lips with BOTOX® Cosmetic.

Easy, Natural-Looking Rejuvenation

Safe

BOTOX® is an FDA-approved injectable made from the purified protein botulinum toxin. It is a highly safe, non-surgical treatment used by millions of people each year to reduce signs of aging.

Fast

BOTOX injections take just a few minutes per treatment area and do not involve downtime or recovery periods. The results take effect within a few weeks and last for several months at a time.

Effective

Botulinum toxin prevents muscle contraction in areas of the face that develop wrinkles with overuse. With regular treatment, you can avoid developing new lines and watch as your skin becomes noticeably smoother.

How Does BOTOX Treatment Work?

Your doctor will inject botulinum toxin to block certain nerve impulses, temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles. When the facial muscles can no longer contract, your skin will relax and look younger and smoother. You will begin to notice the effects of your Botox injection within just a few days. The results will continue to improve over the course of approximately 4 weeks and may remain for up to 6 months.

Am I a Good Candidate for BOTOX Cosmetic?

The FDA has approved BOTOX Cosmetic for anyone between the ages of 18 and 65, but it works best for people who still have some elasticity in their skin. While there is no hard rule for when you should start BOTOX Cosmetic, most experts agree it is best to start in your late twenties to early thirties, or whenever you begin to see forehead lines.

You should not undergo the procedure if you:
  • Have had an allergic reaction to any ingredient in the injectable
  • Have had an allergic reaction to another type of botulinum toxin injection like Xeomin or Dysport
  • Do not have healthy skin or are currently fighting a skin infection
  • Are pregnant or nursing
