What is Juvederm®?

Juvederm® is one of the various dermal fillers available at Lake Country Plastic and Hand Surgery. This injectable gel is infused into the mid- to deep dermis to minimize moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, especially in the face. How Does Juvederm® Work?

The key to Juvederm® is hyaluronic acid, which occurs naturally in your body. This acid is important for a variety of reasons. As your body loses its ability over time to produce hyaluronic acid, your skin volume decreases and folds and wrinkles begin to appear.
